Weekly Newsletter
May 18, 2009
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Thank you so much for your compassion and support last week which helped us get through a very difficult situation. The Nanopoulos family expressed their gratitude for all that St. Joseph School did for them. They are especially grateful for the prayers that were offered. Please continue to pray for them.
I hope you will be able to join us for the Art Fair and the many student projects that will be displayed throughout the school. There may even be some baby chicks emerging from their shells! It will be held on Tuesday, May 19th at 6:30 PM. Pizza will be served in the hall beginning at 5:30PM.
We will be attending Mass on Thursday, May 21st at 9:00AM, for the feast of the Ascension. Our first graders will be doing the readings, gifts, and Communion meditation.
Have you invited all your friends and relatives to see our spring concert which will be held at Bishop Fenwick on May 29th at 7:00 PM? It is going to be a very special evening with all the students singing many well-known folk songs and ballads ending with a very touching tribute to St. Joseph School. Admission will be free. All students need to be present. More information will be coming.
This is a reminder that there will not be school this Friday, May 22nd, along with the following Monday, while we celebrate a long Memorial Day.
Enjoy the week ahead.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lou Ann Melino
